Procedure

Phase A – Combine phase A in the main vessel and heat in a water bath to 167˚F to 176˚F (75˚C to 80˚C) under continuous mixing. Phase B – Add phase B to the main vessel under continuous mixing. Phase C – Add phase C to the main vessel in formula order under continuous mixing. Once uniform, begin cooling. Phase D – When the main vessel is less than 122˚F (50˚C), add phase D under continuous mixing. Phase E – Combine phase E in a separate vessel with continuous mixing. When the main vessel is at 104˚F (40˚C), add phase E with continuous mixing until uniform. Transfer to the final container while still warm and flowable.
